Lebenslauf Felix Lohrke

Felix received a B. Sc. degree in life sciences from the University of Potsdam in 2019. His interest in bioinformatics, programming and machine learning started when he worked at the Max Planck Institute of Molecular Plant Physiology in Golm during his studies. His bachelor thesis involved the analysis of nanobodies through the application of in-silico methods in the field of immunology. He then went on to start a degree in M. Sc. Bioinformatics at the University of Potsdam which he finished in 2022. During his studies he worked at the German Rheumatism Research Centre Berlin where he helped with the development of immunology data analysis tools and machine learning solutions for relapse prediction of cancer patients. For his master thesis he worked with CLAIM by utilizing generative adversarial networks (GANs) for image-to-image translations in the context of acute ischemic stroke treatment. Since then, he has been working at CLAIM with a focus on outcome prediction for stroke patients using non-contrast computed tomography imaging data, as well as clinical model development of our multi-modal outcome prediction framework.
